Bridge Family Reunification & Alienation Coaching
Child Centered, Educational Support for Estranged and High Conflict Families
Bridge Family Reunification Coaching provides structured, child centered guidance for families navigating estrangement, resistance, fractured parent child relationships, and high conflict family dynamics. This service may include education related to parental alienation dynamics and coercive or controlling behaviors that can impact a child’s relationship with a parent. Coaching is educational and skills based, not therapeutic, and is provided outside of psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, or court ordered reunification therapy.
This service does not replace mental health treatment, clinical assessments, or court ordered services.
Who This Service Is For
Bridge Family Reunification Coaching may be appropriate for:
Estranged or rejected parents
Parents living out of state seeking reunification guidance
Caregivers navigating high conflict or resistance
Parents preparing for reunification therapy
Parents seeking education on alienation dynamics
Caregivers receiving collateral support while a child is in treatment elsewhere
Scope of Coaching Services
(Non Clinical and Distinct From Therapy)
Bridge Family Reunification Coaching focuses on education, preparation, and behavior change. Services may include:
Parent Education and Insight
Education regarding estrangement, resistance, parental alienation dynamics, and the unintended behaviors that may contribute to relational rupture. Coaching may help parents recognize patterns that increase a child’s distress or resistance without assigning blame, diagnosing, or treating mental health conditions.
Behavioral Coaching & Accountability
Guidance to help parents modify communication styles, emotional responses, and behaviors that may escalate conflict or unintentionally place children in loyalty conflicts.
Out of State Parent Reunification Support
Coaching for parents who live out of state and are seeking guidance on how to reunify or reconnect in a developmentally appropriate and child centered manner. Coaching focuses on preparation, pacing, consistency, and emotional regulation and does not involve direct services with the child.
Collateral Parent Coaching
Coaching may be provided as a collateral support service when a child is engaged in therapy or court ordered reunification services with a separate treating professional. In these cases, the coached parent is not the identified client in therapy, and coaching does not establish a therapeutic relationship with the child.
Preparation for Reunification Therapy
Educational guidance to help parents understand expectations, boundaries, and pacing prior to reunification therapy when applicable.
Conflict De Escalation and Co Parenting Education
Education on parallel parenting, boundaries, non reactive communication, and reducing behaviors that escalate conflict or increase child resistance.
Professional Collaboration Support
When appropriate and authorized, coaching may support collaboration with treating therapists or other professionals to align behavior with child centered goals, without accessing protected health information or interfering with treatment.
Meet Our Coaching Expert
Sandylu Guerrero
Sandylu Guerrero is a Certified Transformational Leader, having completed an intensive 6 month Leadership Coaching Program through Mastery in Transformational Training. But for Sandylu, this certification is more than a credential, it’s a calling rooted in purpose, healing, and family restoration.
In addition to her transformational leadership training, Sandylu received specialized mentorship and training in reunification therapy, conjoint sessions, and parental alienation assessments from Maria Jessica Quiroz, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience working with high-conflict families and court-involved cases. Under Maria’s guidance, Sandylu deepened her clinical insight into the emotional complexities of estranged parent-child relationships and developed the tools to facilitate reconnection with empathy, structure, and trauma-informed care.
Sandylu blends breakthrough coaching, emotional intelligence, and relational healing to support families in crisis—guiding them through the pain of alienation and into a new chapter of trust, communication, and connection. Her work helps parents break through guilt and shame, empowers children to feel seen and safe, and creates the conditions for lasting transformation within the family system.
Whether coaching individuals or walking families through reunification, Sandylu’s mission is to help hearts find their way back to one another because healing is possible, and every relationship deserves a second chance.
Parental Alienation Education and Support
Bridge Family Reunification Coaching includes education related to parental alienation dynamics in a non accusatory, non diagnostic manner. Coaching may assist parents in understanding how certain behaviors, even when unintentional, may contribute to a child’s resistance or emotional cutoff.
The goal of this education is awareness, accountability, and behavior change, not blame or fault finding. Coaching does not involve diagnosing alienation, conducting evaluations, or making legal determinations.
This coaching focuses on:
• Education on alienation patterns and dynamics
• Reducing counterproductive parent behaviors
• Child centered communication strategies
• Rebuilding trust and connection over time
• Supporting calm, consistent, and regulated parenting
Out of State and Nationwide Services
Because this service is non clinical and educational in nature, Bridge Family Reunification Coaching is available nationwide. Coaching may be provided to parents residing outside the child’s state while the child receives therapy or reunification services locally.
*Coaching does not assess, diagnose, or treat alienation as a mental health condition.
